Blueberries may be the healthiest fruit ever, and with abundant crops in both Carolinas, you can get them at their peak of perfection. As for peaches, Georgia may call itself the peach state, but Carolina folks know that we grow some mighty fine specimens – and lots of them. And if the salad leaves you feeling virtuous, but longing for more, consider a blueberry peach cobbler, served hot, with melting homemade vanilla ice cream.
